F. F. NICOLLS RITES MONDAY
Well Known Retired Druggist Died Unexpectedly

Funeral services were held at 1:30 o’clock Monday afternoon from Mauer’s funeral home with Rev. F. P. Pfaltzgraff officiating for F. F. Nicolls, well known retired druggist, who died unexpectedly Saturday (November 25, 1939) afternoon at his home 309 2nd Ave. N. W. Interment was made at Pierson.

F. F. Nicolls was born in 1869 at Albert Lea, Minn. He moved to Kingsley when a young man where he started a drug business and later went to Pierson. He came to Le Mars in 1926 and was in business here until he retired a few years ago.

Mr. Nicolls was a leader in the local Townsend movement.

Surviving to mourn his passing are his widow, Katherine; one daughter, Mrs. Ray Welterlen of Manchester, Iowa, one brother and fourth sisters. Mr. Nicolls was a well known druggist in northwest Iowa and during his residence here made the acquaintance of many friends who will regret to learn of his passing.
