Arthur Gronemeyer

Arthur H. Gronemeyer, 78, of Le Mars died Friday (Nov. 2, 1979) at a Siou City hospital after long illness.

Services were at 1:30 p.m Monday at St. Peter's Lutheran church in Brunsville. Rev. Robert Saige officiated. Burial was in Plymouth Presbyterian cemetery near Brusnville. There was a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the Mauer funeral home.

Mr. Gronemeyer was born dec. 21, 1900, in Plymouth county to fred and Wilhelmine Barinsky Gronemeyer. He was a retired farmer and lived in Plymouth county all his life. He was active in st. Peter's Lutheran church and church board.

He married Christiana Miller March 25, 1926, in Sioux City. He lived on the same farm for 53 years.

Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Stanley (Carol) Willer of Le Mars; three grandchildren. Brian, Terry, and Kimberly; a sister, Mrs. CArolyn Barker of Le Mars, and three brothers, William and Fred both of Le Mars, and John of Cherokee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter, Betty Lou, and a brother, George.
