George B. Ross

George B. Ross, 87, Akron, died (Dec. 30, 1974 in the Akron hospital after a long illness.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 31 in St. Patrick's Catholic church in Akron. The Rev. Stanley Stone officiated. Burial was in St. Joseph's cemetery under the direction of the Schroeder Funeral home.

Mr. Ross was born Sept. 15, 1887, at Akron. He married Margaret Burns Jan. 20, 1914, at Miller, S. D. She died in 1971.

The farmed in the Miller area until 1934, when they moved to Akron. They farmed near Akron until retiring in 1946.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Naomi Garner of San Francisco; Mrs. Virgil (Berniece) Harris and Miss Vera Ross, borth of Akron; a son, Blaine of Akron and four grandchildren.
