Mrs. David Woodley
Mrs. David A. Woodley, 88, Matney Westside Manor, died Friday night (March 11, 1977) in a Sioux City hospital.
Mrs. Woodley, the former Fannie Louise Simmons, was born April 23, 1888, in Cheorokee. She was married Nov. 16, 1905, in Cherokee. The couple resided in South Dakota, and Plymouth county before moving to Sioux City from Merrill in 1945. Mr. Woodley died Jan. 29, 1949. She was a member of the First United Methodist church.
Survivors are four sons, Merlin of Phoenix, Ariz., Milo and Chester, both of Sioux City, and Elwyn of Riverside, Calif.; six daughters, Mrs. Willis (Ora) Tullis of Merrill, Mrs. Marjorie Eberhard of Hinton, and Mrs. Harold (Doris) Clark, Mrs. Leonard (Leone) Wright, Mrs. Robert (Joyce) Lanagan and Mrs. Loren (Beverly) Livengood, all of Sioux City; 25 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two brothres, Walter of Cliff Simmons, both of Sioux City; and a sister, Mrs. Laura Peters of Healdsburg, Calif.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Nelson-Berger Northside chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
