Claude Swalley, 52, who has made his home with relatives near Westfield the past few years, passed away Monday, March 23, 1942, at the Akron Hospital, following an illness of pneumonia.

Mr. Swalley was a single man.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, at the Rossow Funeral Home, Rev. A. A. Howe, Pastor of the Akron Methodist Church, officiating. Hymns were sung by Misses Miriam Adams and Phyllis Ross. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery.
