Mrs. J. J. Davis, an old resident of Kingsley, died on Saturday.

Sarah Jeanette Pugh was born on January 29, 1855, Crawford County, Ohio. On January 28, 1875, she was married to Franklin Swalley, and to this union was born one daughter, Mrs. Fordyce Patton, of Grand Rapids, Ohio. Mr. Swalley passed away on December 1898. In 1909.

Mrs. Swalley came to Kingsley and on April 12, 1910, she was united in marriage to J. J. Davis who with the daughter, one grandson, and one sister, Mrs. J. R. Walcutt, of Kingsley survive her.
