ROBERT “Bob” LITTERICK
Robert Litterick, 75, of Hinton died Friday, June 8, 2001, at his residence following a brief illness. Services were held at Hinton United Methodist Church. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Litterick was born October 1, 1925, in Sioux City, the son of John and Amanda (Carlson) Litterick. He graduated from Leeds High School. He married Marianne Ellison on May 1, 1946, in Sioux City. After graduation he farmed on the family farm. He later worked at Iowa Public Service (now Mid American Energy) for 30 years retiring in 1985. He than returned to farming on the family farm. He was a member of Hinton United Methodist Church, Leeds Triangle Masonic Lodge 643, Scottish Rite, Shrine and Abu Bekr Wrecking Crew. Survivors include his wife, his mother of Hinton, a son and his wife Keith and Pat Litterick of Chicago, Illinois, a daughter and her husband Lynn and Paul Splittorff of Kansas City, Missouri, a brother-in-law Ray Early of Kansas City, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. He preceded in death by his father and a sister, Pat Early.
