HAZEL HEUE
Hazel Heue, 86, of Hinton died Tuesday, July 10, 2001, at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars, Iowa. Services were held at Hinton United Methodist Church. Burial was in Massena Cemetery, Massena, Iowa. Mrs. Heue was born February 12, 1915, in Massena, the daughter of Walter and Ethel (Scheilds) Hancock. She graduated from Massena Public School and attended the American Institute of Business in Des Moines. She married Wilbur Heue on November 16, 1946, in Carroll, Iowa. The couple lived in the Massena area until 1970 when they moved to Hinton. She was employed with the Farmer’s Savings Bank in Massena, Commercial Saving Bank in Carroll and later worked for Andrew’s Roofing and Sheet Metal Co. Her husband died August 24, 1996. She was a member of Hinton Methodist Church, Hinton Garden Club, Study Club and Senior Citizens Club. Survivors include a nephew and his wife Tom and Jo Ellen Luin of Austin, Texas; two brothers-in-law Bernard Heue of Carroll and Lawerence Heue of Heidelberg, Germany; two sister-in-law Leona Heue and Jo Ann Vogel of Carroll. She preceded in death by two sisters Ferne Hancock Luin and a sister in infancy.
