ODELINE RICHARDSON
Odeline Richardson, 96, of Merrill died Friday October 19, 2001, at her residence following a brief illness. Mrs. Richardson, the former Odeline Zweifel, was born March 1, 1905, on a farm near Hinton, daughter of Andrew and Minnie (Heimgartner) Zweifel. She married Ray Richardson on January 16, 1924, on the farm where she was born. He died November 7, 1991, in Merrill. She was a lifelong resident of rural Hinton. Odeline was a homemaker. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church rural Hinton and the Ladies Aid. She enjoyed quilting. She loved traveling and playing cards. She was active with the Hinton Senior Citizens. She was a member of the Sweet 16 Bowling League until May 2001. Survivors include two daughters Joyce Wagner of Merrill and Betty and her husband Ray Lamoureux of Loveland, Colorado; a sister Wanda Cowan of Minneapolis, Minnesota; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She also preceded in death by a son-in-law Harlan Wagner. Funeral services were held Monday October 22, at Trinity Lutheran Church rural Hinton. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City.
