Brenda Lee Anderson, age 64, of Westfield, Iowa passed away on Monday December 9, 2013 at her residence. Per her wishes she has been cremated and no services or visitation will be held. Brenda was born on November 13, 1949 in Sioux City, the daughter of Douglas and Mary Ann (Bortle) Bradshaw. Brenda graduated from East High School. Brenda was married to Darlo Anderson.

Brenda helped at her husband’s construction company, Anderson Construction until his death in 1991. She then worked at Elk Horn Construction until 2005. Brenda enjoyed camping and fishing.

Brenda is survived by her daughter, Shelby and her husband Curt Harder of Westfield; one granddaughter, Abbi Harder; one brother Scott Bradshaw of Sioux City and one sister, Kathy Watterson of Sioux City; nephew Jeramiah Bradshaw and his wife Holli and their children Ella, Avery, Addi and Issy, and nephew Brandon Bradshaw and his wife Sarah and their children Leyton and Willow.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Michael Hattan, the medical staff at Unity Point-St. Lukes, and Hospice of Siouxland for their care and assistance during Brenda’s illness.
