Note: Her gravestone has her name listed as Artamassa Clarissa Gardner 1827-1902. Her maiden name is Hulett.

Grandma Gardner died last Sunday morning after a lingering illness on their old homestead northeast of town.

The funeral was held at the house Monday forenoon; interment being made in the Akron cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Gardner were among the early settlers of Plymouth county.

Besides the aged husband she leaves one son. Wm. Gardner, who resides on the old homestead and a daughter, Mrs. Hart Ogden.
