Mrs. Lee S. Wilson died in Akron, on December 5, of consumption, aged 44 years, 7 months, and 11 days.

The deceased had been for many years a sufferer from the dread disease which resulted fatally. She was patient, hopeful, cheerful—taking up the burdens of life with perfect self-abandonment. Her friends speak of her , with eyes submersed in tears, as a gentle and lovable woman, faithful to all interests and keeping every trust.

Maggie A. Nearing was born in Germany, April 24, 1852, and came to this country with her parents at the age of seven years. They settled at New Buffalo, Mich. She was married to Lee S.Wilson, May 14, 1879, at St. Joseph, Mich. With her husband she came to Akron in the spring of 1890. the only fruit of the union died in tender years and rests in the Akron cemetery.

Other relatives except the surviving husband anr two brothers, residing at Abbington, Michigan.

Brief funeral services were held Monday under the auspices of the Women’s Relief corps, of which she was an active member, and on the southbound train Mr. Wilson accompanied the remains to St. Joseph for interment.
