ALTA PRIBORSKY
Alta Priborsky, 90, of Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Sioux City died Wednesday, February 2, 2000, at Desert Samaritan Care Center in Mesa after a lengthy illness. Burial was in Logan Park Cemetery in Sioux City. Mrs. Priborsky was born October 8, 1909, at Chatsworth, Iowa, the daughter of Art and Dora (Jurgensen) Hendrix. She graduated from Bonesteel, South Dakota, High School. She married Robert Priborsky on December 4, 1965, in Sioux City, Iowa. He died on November 12, 1998. She and her husband farmed in Plymouth County west of Hinton retiring in 1972. They lived in Florida, Colorado, and then Arizona for the past 15 years. Survivors include her son John Mackaman of Jean, Nevada; step-children Robert Priborsky and his wife Kathleen (Raby) of Littleton, Colorado; Raymond Priborsky of Hinton, Iowa; Connie (Priborsky) Norton of Sioux City, Iowa; Randall Priborsky of Sioux City; four grandchildren; one sister Erliene Cerny and her husband Joe of Burke, South Dakota; she preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Fred.
