SANDRA GRASZ
Sandra Grasz, 49 of Merrill, died Monday, October 4, 1999, at the Brentwood Good Samaritan Center in Le Mars. The former Sandra Elaine Hanks was born December 12, 1949, at Battle Creek the daughter of Dale and Dorothy (Ingram) Hanks. She attended school at Moville graduating from Woodbury Central High School in 1968. Sandra was united in marriage to Randall Grasz on May 13, 1972, at Trinity Lutheran Church rural Hinton. She had worked for Harker’s Inc., then Tyson Foods in Le Mars for 13 years. In 1996 she went to work for Gateway 2000 in the manufacturing department until her health failed in 1998. Survivors include her husband; a son and daughter-in-law Joseph and Aliesha Grasz of Le Mars; two daughters Kristina Grasz and her special friend Mike Trapp of Merrill; Stacie Grasz and her special friend Justin Fiedler of Remsen; two grandchildren; three brothers Donald Hanks and his special friend Lynette Schmit of Sioux City; Ronald Hanks and his wife Dawn of Climbing Hill; Lyle Hanks and his wife Rosie of Hinton; two sisters Sharon Hanks of Leeds; Joyce Mead and her special friend Bob Borrall of Leeds; father and mother-in-law Lester and Ruth Grasz of Le Mars. She preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services were held at Trinity Lutheran Church on October 7, 1999. Burial was in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery.
