Note: Since some of his siblings were born in Plymouth County he may have lived there for a time. His mother's maiden name was Dunn.

Charles L. Dunham

Charles L. Dunham, 73, Sioux City, died Wednesday (Feb. 3, 1982) at a Sioux City hospital of a brief illness.

Services were held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Berkemier funeral home. The Rev. Mark I. Bubeck of Central Baptist church officiated. Burial was in Memorial Park cemetery.

Mr. Dunham was born Oct. 27, 1908, in Alcester, S.D. He lived in Union county, S. D. until coming to Sioux City in 1962. He married Ella Potter, June 3, 1966, in South Sioux City, Neb.

Following their marriage the couple lived in Sioux City. He was employed by the Lewis system for a number of years, later working at the YMCA until his retirement in 1972. He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife; three stepsons, James Potter, Sioux City, Donald Potter, Warner-Robbins, Ga.,Robert Potter, Sioux City; two step-daughters, Mrs. Donovan (Betty) Christensen, Sioux City, and Mrs. Louis (Dorothy) Limoges, Sioux City; six brothers, Donald, Leo, Walter and Robert, all of Elk Point, Roy of Akron and George of Los Altos, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Crow, Merrill, and Mrs. Lois Friske and Mrs. Betty Jacobson, both of Akron; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
