WILBUR HEUE
Wilber “Webb” Heue of Hinton died unexpectedly on Sunday August 25, 1996, in Sioux City. Memorial services were held on Tuesday, August 27, at the Hinton United Methodist Church. Graveside services were held at Massena Center Cemetery, Massena, Iowa. Mr. Heue was born September 21, 1924, in Carroll, Iowa, the son of Anton and Elizabeth Heue. He attended grade school at St. Lawrence in Carroll and then went on to engineering school in Chicago. He joined the Navy in 1941 and served for four years. He married Hazel Hancock on November 16, 1946, in Carroll where they lived until 1970, when the couple moved to Hinton. Mr. Heue worked for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad for forty years. He was a member of the Hinton United Methodist Church, Signet Lodge No.264, A. F. & A. M. Carroll, Iowa, and American Legion Post No. 477 Hinton, Iowa. Survivors include his wife; four sisters Evelyn Nelson of Vail, Iowa; Marie Terlisner of Coloma, Michigan; Leona Heue and JoAnn Vogel both of Carroll, Iowa; two brothers Lawrence Heue of Heidelberg, Germany; Bernard Heue of Carroll, Iowa; three nephews and one niece; an aunt, Frances Marlowe of Massena, Iowa; an uncle Leonard Spaen of Carroll, Iowa. He preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Mildred and Helen and a brother Robert.
