Mrs. Albert Thauren, 76, Brunsville, a long-time resident of Sioux City, died Sunday (Dec. 30, 1973) at Plymouth Manor in Le Mars after an extended illness.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Luken-Johnson funeral home with Rev. Dale Reiff of St. Joseph's Catholic church in Le Mars presiding. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery in Sioux City.

Mrs. Thauren, the former Sarah M. Blackburn, was born Oct. 23, 1897 in Le Mars.

She was married in Muscatine. Mr. Thauren died in 1960.

She lived in Sioux City for most of her life before moving to Brunsville two years ago to make her home with Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Osterbuhr.

She had lived at Plymouth Manor for a short time before her death. She moved there Dec. 18.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.
