Life Long Plymouth County Resident To Be Buried In Lincoln Twp.

Edward G. Mathwig, 68, passed away July 11, on the Charles Beck farm, Lincoln township. Mr. Mathwig has been in failing health for several years.

Edward Mathwig was born June 27, 1876 in Lincoln township where he lived his entire life.

Funeral services will be at the Mauer funeral home in Le Mars on Saturday afternoon, July 15 at 2:30 o’clock. Burial will be in the Trinity Lutheran church cemetery of Lincoln township. Services will be conducted by Rev. H. D. Stahmer.

Surviving are: Lena Mathwig, John Mathwig, Mrs. Chas. Beck, Mrs. Herb Souse, Mrs. Ed Klueger, Mrs. John Kounkel, and Herman Mathwig of Balaton, Minn..

Mr. Mathwig was preceded in death by his father and mother Gottlieb and Augusta Mathwig.
