George William Beaubien, 94, Colorado Springs, Colo., a Westfield native and former Sioux city resident died Saturday, July 16, 1988, at Pikes Peak Manor in Colorado Springs after a short illness.

Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Friday in Calvary cemetery in Sioux City. Rev. J. Charles Yetmar, pastor of the Cathedral of the Epiphany officiated. Larkin Northside funeral home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Beaubien, was born March 23, 1894, in Westfield, Iowa. He married Marie O’Shea. They made their home in Sioux City where he worked for International Harvester for more than 40 years. They moved from Sioux City in about 1967.

Survivors include his wife; a son, William of Florida; a brother, Armon of Chelsea, Okla; two sisters, Pearl Rowe of Sioux City and Irene Mann of Sacrament, Calif. and two granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by a son, Raymond.
