Mrs. Herman Beck

Mrs. Herman (Marie) Beck, 84 of Le Mars, died Thursday (Jan. 7, 1982) in a hospital at Le Mars.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in St. John’s American Lutheran church, Rev. David Kramer will officiate. Burial will be in Le Mars Memorial cemetery under direction of the Mauer funeral home.

Mrs. Beck, the former Marie M. Adden, was born Nov. 28, 1897, rural Le Mars, to Albert and Johanna Adden, and was a lifelong Plymouth county resident. She married Herman Beck Feb. 6, 1924, in Le Mars. He died November of 1943. She had lived in the Plymouth Manor Care center the last five years.

Survivor is one sister, Mrs. Anna Kilker of Le Mars.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers.
