Herman Bliss Resided in This County Many Years

Akron Register: Herman Bliss, a well known citizen of Akron, and a resident of this vicinity for many years, passed away at the J. C. Bredall home, in this city Saturday morning, March 10, 1923, after an illness of about three weeks of pleurisy and complications.

Mr. Bliss had been conducting a grocery store in Akron for about a year.

He is survived by three sons and one daughter—John, of Rodney, Iowa, and Ambrose, Harry and Vera Bliss, of Akron. There are also three brothers—John, of Westfield township; Charles, of Lima, Ohio, and Robert, of Cleveland, Ohio, all of whom were present at the funeral.

Funeral services were conducted by Father E. F. Casey, Tuesday morning, in St. Patrick’s Catholic church. Interment was in Hawarden, Iowa.

Brought Here for Burial Herman Bliss of Akron passed away Saturday evening after an illness of two weeks duration from pneumonia at the age of 54 years He had spent practically all his life in the vicinity of Akron Funeral services were con ducted by Rev Fr. Casey at Akron at Tuesday morning after which the remains were brought to Hawarden and laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery where one his children was buried some years ago He is survived by one daughter and three sons who reside at Akron.
