Mrs. Albert H. Beck, 85, Sioux City, died Thursday morning (Aug. 31, 1972) at a Sioux City nursing home.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Grace Lutheran church with the Rev. Richard J. Kuckhahn officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery under direction of the Nelson-Berger funeral home in Morningside.

Robert BEck, Gerald Costello, Dale Hall, Marvin Eyler, Ralph A. Jacobson and Irvin Hoffman will be pallbearers.

Mrs. Beck, the former Barbara Louise Hoffman, was born Jan. 31, 1887, at Kingsley. She was married to Albert H. Beck Dec. 22, 1908, at Kingsley. The couple farmed in the Merrill community from 1908 until 1947 when they retired and moved to Sioux City. Mrs. Beck was a member of Grace Lutheran church.

Survivors are her husband; a son, Walter of Dakota City; two daughters, Mrs. Bernard (Edith) costello of Sergeant Bluff and Dorothy Beck of Sioux City; a sister, Mrs. Ira Holt of Cartersville, Ga., a brother, John C. Hoffman of Sioux City; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
