Albert H. Beck

Albert H. Beck, 91, 3201 Dodge Ave., Sioux City, died Sunday (Sept. 24, 1972) at a Sioux City hospital.

Mr. Beck was born March 27, 1881, at Merrill. He married Barbara L. Hoffman Dec. 22, 1908, at Kingsley. They farmed near Merrill from 1908 until they retired in 1947 and moved to Sioux City. Mrs. Beck died last Aug. 31 in Sioux City. He was a member of Grace Lutheran church.

Survivors are a son, Walter of Dakota City; two daughters, Mrs. Benard (Edith) Costello of Sergeant Bluff and Dorothy Beck of Sioux City; a brother, Ed of Le Mars; a sister, Mrs. J. C. Hoffman of Sioux City; five grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Lutheran church. Rev. Richard J. Kuckhahn will officiate and burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery under direction of the Nelson-Berger funeral home in Morningside.

Pallbearers will be Robert, Kenneth and Harold Beck, Gerald Costello, Ralph A. Jacobson and Irvin Hoffman.
