FORMER AKRON WOMAN CALLED

RITES HELD TUESDAY AT SIOUX CITY FOR MRS. NELLIE BLISS

Mrs. Nellie Bliss, 76, a former resident of Akron, passed away Sunday night at the house of her daughter, Mrs. Clarence Peck, 1018 Pierce Street, Sioux City.

Mrs. Bliss was born October 14, 1865, at Monticello, Iowa. She moved from here to Sioux City about eight years ago. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Epiphany and of the the Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament in Sioux City.

Survivors in addition to Mrs. Peck, include two sons, Harry Bliss, of Sioux City,and John Bliss, of Wynot, Neb.; also by 15 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 9:00 o’clock Tuesday morning in the Cathedral of the Epiphany, Sioux City, Rt. Rev. Msgr. T. M. Coghlan officiating. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery, Akron.

Akron relatives in attendance at the funeral services were Mr. and Mrs. James Trautt, Mrs. Frank Trautt, James Gleason and Leo Trautt.
