MITCHEL W. KRUSE
Mitchel William Kruse, 37, of Sioux City formerly of Hinton died unexpectedly of an apparent heart attack at his residence on Monday, July 5, 1999. Funeral services will be held on Friday July 9, 1999, at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in Sioux City with Dr. Louis Lotz pastor of Morningside Reformed Church officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 p. m. Burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery. Mitchel Kruse was born March 27, 1962, in Grundy Center, Iowa, to Roger and Pat (Springer) Kruse. He graduated from Homer, Nebraska, High School in 1980 and attended Yankton College. He married Dana Rasmussen on June 8, 1985, in Sioux City, Iowa. He had worked at I. B. P. for 20 years and was supervisor of the Computer Room. He had also worked at Olson Trucking, Arrow Stage Lines and Staber Meats. Mitch played fast and slow pitch softball, he was a member of the IBP golf League, a member of Deer Run Golf Course, and was a little League coach. Survivors include his wife Dana, his parents Roger and Pat Kruse of Homer, Nebraska, one son Dustin and a daughter Tasha, one stepdaughter Nikki Verdoom all at home, one sister JoEllen Wical and her husband Doug, his maternal grandmother Audrey Springer of Grundy Center, paternal grandparents Clarence and Mae Kruse of Holland, Iowa, He preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Harlen Springer.
