FORMER COUNTY RESIDENT DIES
Last Rites for Mrs. Bertha Stinton Held Tuesday in Sioux City
Mrs. Bertha Belle Stinton died at her home in Sioux City, Sunday, September 6, 1936, after a lingering illness.
Born November 22, 1872, Mrs. Stinton lived in the Adaville vicinity, Plymouth county, Iowa,until she moved to Sioux City in 1911.
Surviving are three sons, Ray, of Hinton; Glen, of Merrill, and Everett, of Akron; two daughters, Mrs. Bela Kulon, of Los Angles, Calif., and Laura Olson, of Sioux City;two brothers, Durwood Burnett, of Omaha, Neb., and Herbert Burnett, of Hinton, and ten grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Nelson-Berger funeral home, Sioux City, with Rev. Willis Smith officiating. Burial was in the Adaville cemetery. Several Akron relatives attended the last rites.
