Death of Mrs. Oltmann

Mrs. Oltmann, wife of D. A. Oltmann of the Kingsley bank, died last Monday night 23 June 1901 after an illness lasting six months. the deceased was born in Sterling, Illinois, June 24, 1864, and was married to Mr. Oltmann in 1886, since which time she has been a resident of Kingsley. Her demise caused universal sorrow in the town of Kingsley where she was a great favorite.

Mr. Oltmann's many friends in LeMars will condole with him on the great loss he sustained. Mrs. Oltmann leaves one child, a daughter. twelve, years of age.

The funeral services were held on Wednesday at the Congregational church in Kingsley and were largely attended. All the stores were closed and business suspended throughout the town during the services.
