AKRON REGISTER TRIBUNE, Akron, Plymouth, Iowa MARCH 21, 1929

Mr. and Mrs. John Clarey, residing southeast of here in Liberty Township, have the sincere sympathy of many friends in the loss of their little son, George Frederick, aged 1 year, 1 month and 3 days, at 4:15 a.m. Tuesday March 19, 1929. The little one had been ill only a few days of whooping cough, and after being seized by a convulsion Sunday was brought to the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard McCorkell, in this city, for medical attention. But all that loving care and medical skill could accomplish was of no avail.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Rev. E. F. Casey officiating. Interment was in the Catholic Cemetery here.
