LONG TIME MAIL CARRIER AT HINTON
William Loradich Dies At Lancaster, OhioWilliam Loradich, an early settler in Hinton, died Christmas day, at the home of his son, Clarence Doradich at Lancaster, Ohio. Mr. Loradich went to make his home with his son a year or two ago.
He was a resident of Hinton community for about forty-seven years and was a rural mail carrier for many years before his retirement.
William Henry Loradich was born September, 1866, at Johnstown, Pa., and came to Iowa, when a youth and lived at Marathon before coming to Hinton in 1897 and settling on a farm two miles west of Hinton. He spent twenty-seven years of his time here in the mail service as a rural carrier. He was the father of nine children, six of whom preceded him in death. His wife died December 8, 1926. He is survived by one son, and two daughters, Clarence Loradich of Lancaster, Ohio, Sister Immaculata of Marble Rock, Iowa, and Miss Anna Loradich of Des Moines, twenty-four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Relatives from this vicinity attending the funeral are Mrs. Mary Loradich and son, Francis, of Sioux City.
