Otto A. Lembcke Called By Death
Many friends mourn the passing of Otto Lembcke, 77, a lifelong resident of Hungerford township, who passed away Wednesday in his home. Mr. Lembcke had been in ill health for some time.
Otto A. Lembcke was born June 29, 1876, on a farm home east of Hinton and spent his entire life on the same farm. On February 12, 1902, he was married to Marie Binneboese at Pipestone, Minn. They celebrated their Golden wedding anniversary in 1952. Mr. Lembcke was confirmed in the Lutheran faith when a child, and was a member of Trinity Lutheran church in Lincoln township. He will be remembered by his friends for his many kind deeds in the community in which he lived.
Survivors include his widow, Marie; nine children, Harry at home, Arthur of Sioux City; Clarence of Hinton, Mrs. Caroline Kolsrude of Sioux Falls, Herbert of Rapid City, S.D. Airbase, Clay at home, Mrs. Ethel Trulock of Maywood, Cal., Ervin of Dixon, Neb., and Mrs. Frances Jeffers of Sioux City, three granddaughters and four grandsons. One daughter, Mabel, preceded him in death in 1907.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 8, 1:30 p.m. at home and 2 o’clock at Trinity Lutheran church, with the Pastor Rev. L.W. Heidemann officiating. Burial will be in the Radamacher cemetery east of Hinton.
