WAS LONG TIME RESIDENT OF HINTON

Mrs. Anna M. Luce, 57 years of age, a long time resident of Hinton, died Monday in her home at 1423 Nebraska street, Sioux City, Iowa, after a brief illness of pneumonia.

The deceased was born in Sweden, October 8, 1877, and came to the United States at the age of three years. She resided in this vicinity until 12 years ago when she was with her family moved to Sioux City. Mrs. Luce was a member of Whitfield Methodist church. She has a host of friends who mourn her demise.

Surviving are three sons, Elwin R. and Arnold M. of Sioux City, and Marvin C. of Eureka, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Bennett of Hinton and Mrs. Emma Sorsoliel of Sioux City; a brother, Charles E. Root of Midland, S.D., and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock from Westcott’s funeral home in Sioux City, Rev. J.J. Davies, officiating. Interment will be in Graceland Park cemetery.
