The Lester Boyd and Christy Moffatt families received word of the death of Mr. Boyd’s and Mrs. Moffatt’s mother, Mrs. Lucy Boyd who passed away in her home near Salem, Oregon, September 18, at the age of 69 years, 6 months.

She was born near Westfield and was before her marriage Lucy Gibson. She was united in marriage with Volney Boyd 51 years ago. Mr. Boyd preceded her in death last January. Friends here extend sympathy.
