Evan V. Molyneux

HINTON, Iowa - Evan V. Molyneux, 7-year-old son of Dawna and Kevin Papenhausen, died Monday, June 22, 1998, of an accidental drowning at the waterfront in Sioux City.

Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars, Iowa, with the Rev. Dr. Michael Boykin officiating. Family visitation will be 6 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Funeral services and burial will take place at a later date.

Evan Verl Molyneux was born March 19, 1991, in Victorville, Calif., the son of Duncan and Dawna Molyneux. He moved with his family to Iowa from Snowflake, Ariz., in October 1997. He was a first grader at Hinton Community School where he enjoyed playing T-ball. He liked dolphins and enjoyed making paper airplanes.

Survivors include his parents; a brother, Jacob Lee; a sister, Nikki Mae; his father of California; maternal grandparents, Lynda and Art Aschauer, of Scottsdale, Ariz., and David Fairfield of Roy Wash.; paternal grandparents, Joan and Verl Baltes of Orange, Calif., and Norman Molyneux of California; grandmother, Shirley Papenhausen, of Sioux City; great-grandparents Paul and Claretta Wilkerson, of Pinetop, Ariz.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
