Mrs. Ed (Dolly) Schreiber, 73, Akron, died Friday (Aug. 25, 1978) at the Akron hospital after a lengthy illness.
Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick's Catholic church, Akron. The Rev. Stanley Stone officiated. Burial was in St. Joseph cemetery, Akron, under direction of Schroeder funeral home, Akron.
Pallbearers were Gene Waag, Bruce Lennon, Jim Snow, Orin Blake, Dan Meinen, and Lloyd Willer.
Mrs. Schreiber, the former Dolly L. Huffman, was born Oct. 30, 1904 in Elk Point, S.D. She married Ed Schreiber May 24, 1923 at Le Mars.
The couple lived in South Sioux City several years where Mr. Schreiber was a mechanic until moving to Akron, Arpil 1, 1960. Mr. Schreiber died Jan. 21, 1962. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, and St. Patrick's
Catholic church.Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Walter (Peggy) Searls, of Akron; a brother, William of Portland, Ore.; one grandson, Ed Searls, Akron; and two great-grandchildren, Gabriel and Amanda.
