Note: His mother's maiden name was Peck.

Bert Easton was called to Elk Point by the sudden death of his brother, Edward Easton who died of blood poisoning Sunday morning. He had been suffering rom an infection in his arm and had also been ill of the lu or a week.

Edward Samuel Easton, son of Samuel and Betsy Easton, was born in Akron, January 13, 1906. His father died when he was four years old. In 1914 his mother and family moved rom here to Elk Point, S. D. On April 14, 1933, he was married to Irene Pierce, of Sioux City, and one son came to bless their union. Mr. Easton was employed in a garage in Elk Point for several years, and recently bought a home and garage combined and went into business for himself.

Besides his widow and 5 month old son, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. B. Easton; two brothers, Bert, of Akron, and Elmer, of Elk Point, and one sister, Mrs. Wm. Eslick, of Elk Point.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Immanuel Lutheran church in Elk Point, conducted by Rev. Walter I. Aamoth. Interment was in Riverside cemetery, Akron, beside his father.
