Elmer Easton

Elmer Easton, 90, in Elk Point, died Thursday, June 6. 1991 at Prairie Estates Care Center in Elk Point.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Immanuel Lutheran church in Elk Point. Rev. Leslie Heroes officiated. Burial was in the Elk Point cemetery, under direction of the Anderson funeral home.

Mr. Easton was born Jan. 19,1901 in Akron, Iowa. He moved with his parents to Elk Point in 1914. He married Louise Pierce Jan. 19, 1933 in Elk Point. They lived in Elk Point, where he was a self-employed plumber. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran church in Elk Point.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters and sons-in-law, Juanita and Kent Lande of Manila, the Philippines and Marie and Glen Olson of Elk Point; a son and daughter- in-law, Ronald and Mae Easton of Mesa, Ariz.; ten grandchildren; IS great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
