Mrs. Marienau, wife of Ernest Marienau, died at her home near Brunsville yesterday after a long illness.

Mrs. Marienau was a pioneer resident of Plymouth county, coming here with her parents. Mrs. and Mrs. Ocke Osterbuhr from Jones county., in the seventies. Her maiden name was Eilizbeth Mathilda Osterbuhr, and she was born on Oct. 21, 1866, being 56 years of age.

She leaves to mourn her death her husband and four sons, and five daughters who are Otto, Edward, Ernest, Ben, Mrs. Thos. Peterson, mrs. George Albright, Mrs. Geo. Wilkens, Mrs. Fred Schuldt and Miss Lizzie Marienau all residing in that vicinity. She is also survived by her aged father and many other relatives.

The funeral will be held on Sunday afternoon at the Christ Lutheran church in Grant township.

Mrs. Marienau had a wide acquaintance and was greatly esteemed by all who knew her.
