Harry V. Lyle

Harry V. Lyle, 79, Sioux City, died Saturday (Nov. 23,1985) at a Sioux City hospital after a long illness.

Funeral was at 10:30 a.m. Monday, at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Rev. Laurice Streyfeller, pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church, officiated. Burial was in Kingsley City
Cemetery. Visitation was from 3-9 p.m. Sunday with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the funeral nome.

Mr. Lyle was born April 13,1906, in Kingsley. He married Mildred Sherwood on July 31,1925, in Sioux Falls. They came to Sioux City in 1939, moved to Golden, Colo., in 1962, and lived there until returning to Sioux City in 1973. He had been a truck driver for Old Home Bakery and International Milling Co. and for Galinsky Brothers for several years. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.

Survivors are his wife; two sons, William of Sioux City and Max of Longmqnt, Colo.; three daughters, Mrs. Shirley Kistner and Mary Ferrari, both ofSioux City, and Janet Lyle of Council Bluffs; a brother, Wilbur of Arvada, Colo.; three sisters, Edith and Laurela Lyle, both of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Lloyd (Margaret) Bainbridge of Pierson; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
