Cora Bainbridge Early Resident Taken By Death
Well Known Kingsley Woman Dies WhUe On Visit With Her Son
Mrs. Cora Bainbridge, a life long resident of Kingsley vicinity, passed away Friday morning at the home of her son, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bainbridge, near Paullina, Iowa. Mrs. Bainbridge had been in poor health for several years, but was able to be about, and only a short time ago went to the home of her son for a visit, where her last Illness proved fatal. Her death was caused by a heart attack.
Cora Alma Doering, daughter ot Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Doering, was born February 1, 1869, in Jasper county, Indiana. When a small child the family moved to the vicinity ot Rock Branch, where she grew to womanhood. On October 16, 1893, she was united in marriage to George Bainbridge of Kingsley and they made their home on a farm and later retired from active farming and moved to Kingsley Mr. Bainbridge passed away on October 18, 1931.
She leaves to mourn her death, four children, Walter Roy Bainbridge of Paullina, Iowa; Mrs. Laurel Stoltz near Marcus, Mrs. Ethel Kuhn of San Francisco, Cal., and Marvin Bainbridge in the Hawaiian Islands.
One son, Paul, preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Sunday from the E. H. Derby residence and from the Methodist church. Rev. H. Wingert officiating, and interment was In the Kingsley cemetery.
