Note: His mother's maiden name is Graham and his wife's maiden name is Chinchin.

John C. King, a resident of Kingsley the past three years, died of apoplexy Sunday evening, September 22, at about six p. m.

Mr. King leaves to mourn his passing, a wife and eight children.

The body was sent to his old, home at Canton, Missouri, where the funeral was held on Wednesday

Kingsley News-Times: John C. King, resident of this vicinity for a few years, passed away at, the A. Parks residence Sunday afternoon, following a brief illness. Apoplexy is given as
the cause of his death.

He was born in Indiana in 1860, being 66 years, 2 months and 4, days of age at the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife and several children. The remains were shipped to Canton, Mo., where services will be held and interment made.
