Death of Mrs. A. W. Wilcox.

The death of Mrs. A. W. Wilcox occurred on Saturday afternoon, February 13 at 3 o'clock at the home of her son, H W. Wilcox in Le Mars.

Mrs. Wilcox was Marion L. Buffington until her marriage to A. W. Wilcox at Troy, N. Y., fifty-two years ago last September. During more than half a century of married life Mrs. Wilcox and her husband lived together to be separated by the death of her husband two months ago, Mrs. Wilcox was 72 years of age at the time of her death and for over two years had lived with the family of her son in Le Mars.

Mrs. Wilcox was an exemplary christian woman and during her adult life had been a member and actively identified with church work. She was a member of the Congregational church during the last forty years of her life.

The funeral services today will be conducted by Rev. Chas. Bralthwaite, of the First Baptist church, owing to the illness of Rev. A. Fehlandt of the Congregational church.

The funeral was held from the home this afternoon at 2 o'clock.
