Note: According to cenus records his estimated birth year is 1832 and he was born in England.

Died-Thomas Amos, of Westfield, Iowa, died September 25, at the age of 83 years in the state hospital at Cherokee, Ia.

He leaves an aged wife of 83, three daughters and two sons to mourn his departure.

The wife and mother will make her home with her daughter, Mrs. W. R. Annis, at Wessington Springs, S. D.

Mr. Amos had been a resident of Westfield for nineteen years. He was a man of kindly disposition and will be missed by his many friends.
