Melvin E. Lias

Melvin E. Lias, 83, Sun City, Ariz., died April 5, 1994, at his residence.

Mr. Lias was born in Woonsocket, S.D., and moved to Arizona in 1979, from S.D. He retired as Divisions Manager of IDS Investments. He was a member of Lakeview United Methodist church and Palmbrook Country Club In Sun City, Ariz. He had been a member of the Masonic Lodge, Akron, and Shriners, Aberdeen, S.D.

He is survived by his wife, Donna, Sun City; one daughter Karen Wolff, Oberlin, Ohio; one son David, Rochester, N. Y.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services were held Friday, April 8, 1994, at Sunland Lakeside Chapel in Sun City, Ariz..

Graveside Masonic service for Melvin E. Lias, 83, of Sun City, Ariz., and former Akron resident were held Saturday, June 18, 1994 at Riverside Cemetery in Akron. Mr. Lias died April 5, in Sun City.
