Dr. H.P. Cunningham has received word of the death of his brother, George Robert Cunningham, at his home in San Francisco, Calif. on Sunday, Sept. 7th, of a heart attack.
Robert Cunningham was the son of the late Dr. and Mrs. G.W. Cunningham of LeMars. He was born July 4, 1911, in LeMars and was at the time of his death 41 years, 2 months and 7 days old.
He was married to Florence Eddington, of Primghar, in Sioux City, 1941, where they lived for a short time before going to San Francisco, Calif., where they have since resided.
Robert attended the LeMars public schools and was a graduate of the LeMars high school.
He was with the Merchant Marines during World War Two. For the past few years he has been employed by the A.A.A. in the city of San Francisco.
He leaves his wife, Florence and three brothers, Richard, of Rochester, N.Y., William of Long Beach, California, Dr. H.P. Cunningham of LeMars.
Burial will be made at San Francisco on Wednesday.
