Priscilla E. Knapp

Priscilla E. Knapp, 85, of Akron, died Sunday February 3, 2002 at the Akron Care Center in Akron.

Funeral services were Wednesday February 6 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Akron with Rev. Sonja Brucklacher officiating. Burial was in Logan Park Cemetery in Sioux City.

Pallbearers were Paul Gehrmann, Matthew Knapp, Cole Knapp, Curtis Knapp, Jim Cody and Barry Knapp.

Priscilla Knapp was born November 30, 1916 in Sioux City, the daughter of Clifford and Loretta (Forette) Alden. She married Cyrus A. Knapp June 10, 1939 in Sioux City. She was a homemaker. In her free time she enjoyed music and playing the violin. Mrs. Knapp was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Akron.

Survivors include two sons, Steven and his wife Colleen of Sioux City and Roger and his wife Jan of Germantown, TN; one daughter, Judy Gehrmann of Council Bluffs; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; one sister, Harriet Cody of Yankton; and one daughter-in-law, Karen Barwick of Akron.

Mrs. Knapp was preceded in death by a son, Bruce Knapp.
