Dwaine V. Stinton

Dwaine V. Stinton, 64, of Golden, Colorado, died July 30, 1989 at his home in Golden.

Services were held Aug. 4, at 12 noon at the Archdiocese of Denver Mortuary in Wheat Ridge, Colo. Burial was at Mt. Olivet cemetery in Wheat Ridge.

Mr. Stinton was born April 19, 1925 at Akron, Iowa, to Everett and Lillian Stinton. He was a 1943 graduate of Akron Community high school. He lived at Akron until 1954, where he was engaged in farming. He married Louise Hasbrock in May 1946, at Akron, la. She died March 15, 1984. He was a member of the Elks Lodge.

Survivors include two sons, Vince Stinton of Littleton, Colo., and Dallas Stinton of Westminster, Colo.; two daughters, Debra Offerson of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Michelle Phillips, of Lakewood, Colo.; two brothers; Lloyd Stinton of Medford, Ore., and Cletus Stinton of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa; one sister, Margie Rozell of Lamar, la.; and five grandchildren, Jeremiah J. Offerson of Colorado Springs; Courtney C. Stinton and Meghan M. Stinton, both of Littleton, Jessica N. Phillips and Joshua R. Phillips, both of Lakewood.

Memorials have been designated to the Colorado Heart Association, 1280 S. Parker Rd., Denver, Colo. 80231.
