Obituary. Mrs. Henry C. Rann.
Mrs. Henry C. Rann, 84, Remsen, died Saturday Aug. 10, 1974, at Floyd Valley hospital, Le Mars, after a long illness. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran church in Remsen.
Rev. Tom Renquist will officiate. Burial will be in the Remsen City cemetery under direction of the Moeller funeral home of Remsen. Mrs. Rann, the former Kate Engelbrecht, was born Jan. 7, 1890, in the Remsen area. She was married Dec. 10, 1910, at Le Mars.
They farmed in Meadow township from 1911 until 1942, when they moved into Remsen and retired.
Survivors are her husband; a son, Adolph of Remsen; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Molly) Barthole of Remsen; three grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Annie Krantz of Canestota, S.D., Mrs. Ed Wulf of Le Mars and Mrs. Neil Wall of Helena, Mont., and a brother, Alfred Engelbrecht of Le Mars.
