Life’s End. MRS MARION DORR FUNERAL RITES SET FRIDAY AFTERNOON.
Funeral services for Mrs. Marion Dorr, 60, rural Remsen woman, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Christ Lutheran church, Remsen.
Rev. Alfred Christensen will officiate and burial will be in the Remsen city cemetery under direction of the Moeller funeral home.
Mrs. Dorr was found dead in a bathtub Tuesday morning. Plymouth county medical examiner Dr. Sherman Lindell said death was accidental and was caused by suffocation by drowning.
Her body, face down in the bathtub, was discovered by her husband at 11:30 a.m. when he returned from a trip to Remsen. Dr. Lindell said the woman apparently slipped and fell while bathing. He said no inquest is planned.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday afternoon until service time.
