Obituary. William A. Reinholdt
William A. Reinholdt, 80, Yakima, Wash., formerly of Remsen, died June 19, 1974 at the Yakima convalescent home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday June 25, at the Moeller funeral home in Remsen with Rev. Paul Wuebben officiating. Burial will be in the Remsen city cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Melvin Reinholdt, Harry Reinholdt, Elmer Reinholdt, Walter Reinholdt, Irvin Dressen and Raymond Roos.
Mr. Reinholdt was born Feb. 25, 1894, on a farm north of Remsen.
He grew up on a farm south of Remsen and attended Remsen schools and an auto mechanics school in Lincoln, Neb.
He serves with the U.S. Army’s 82nd division in Germany during world war I.
After the war he operated a garage in Early and Pasadena, Calif., before moving to Yakima in 1946. He worked for the Bell Wyman Co. in Yakima until his retirement 15 years ago.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Loyal Order of Moose.
Survivors are nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers and two sisters. – Le Mars Daily Sentinel, June 24, 1974, page 7.
