Mrs. Rosetta Westhoff
Mrs. Rosetta Ankea Tena Westhoff, 53, died Monday in LeMars after several months illness.
Rosetta Lubben was born March 3, 1916, in Grant township, the daughter of the late Albert and Margaret Kleihauer Lubben. She was married to Arnold D.T. Westhoff in Grant township Feb. 21, 1937.
Mrs. Westhoff was a lifelong resident of Plymouth and farmed with her husband until moving to LeMars in 1964.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Christ Lutheran church, Grant township. Rev. Robert Reitz will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of the Mauer funeral home here.
A prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Survivors are her husband, LeMars; two daughters, Mrs. Roger (Janice) Berkenpas, Sacramento; Mrs. Dale (Shirley) Haupert, Atlantic; two grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Gretha Oetken and Mrs. Harry (Nora) Westhoff, both of LeMars, and Mrs. Bruno (Margaret) Brunken, Struble.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, William, John and an infant brother, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Brunken and infant sister.
Mrs. Westhoff was a member of Christ Lutheran church.
